Well, due to the lack of common sense and incompetence of a mindless drone employee at the photo developers I lost three rolls of film today, so my hiatus from posting will continue a little longer.
Really annoying as I had tried out a whole load of new ideas that I am now going to have to attempt to recreate (though in an attempt to see the bright side, it might allow me to refine ideas by revisiting them)
Does anyone know of a place in the UK to get C41 processing chemicals at a reasonable cost (South West or online)? Making the decision to try my hand at it, because I feel someone who is doing it for passion, and not merely a way to pay the bills, might be more diligent when it comes to the handling of irretrievable creative work and memories.

Yesterday I decided I wanted to do a stencil of this photo taken by my friend Tom Evans.
I didn’t have the right colours, so this is just a test piece. Will hopefully be able to pick up the right ones tomorrow, maybe make a few adjustments and then get a proper version up.

I’m trying hard to post mostly just my original photographs here, but…
You should really check out these guys:
Lots of incredible film soup experiments.
and Max Gush
Brilliant experimental film photographs.
Thanks to you both for your support!
When you see things like this, certainly cheers you up!
I said in another post Kat Ward is one of my favourites, if not my favourite photographer on tumblr. She posts lots of different stuff, and they always inspire me which is cool, so go check her work!
Can vouch for Max too. He was my housemate at uni, and always does wicket stuff.
Like Tom said, things like this really add to your day, especially from someone who you hold in high regard for the excellent photography they do.
Take a look at Kat and Tom’s work, it is well worth it. And I know that Tom has just received a whole load of souped film back, which he is currently uploading gradually (complete tease that boy), so keep an eye on him for things yet to come!
